Quarry Operations Manager

We are interested in having a conversation with someone that has five years plus quarrying experience, know the industry, the people, and the products.

Based in Palmerston North, you will be 2IC to the General Manager, Aggregate. 

You need to have an eagerness to learn, and willingness to put the work in to progress yourself and the business.

The following skills and experience are required:

• A strong commitment to safety, health, environment, and community.
• Proven experience in financial management, cost control, assets, and staff management.
• Setting budgets, and ensuring all quarries operate optimally within these.
• Balancing customer demand to supply.
• Ensure safety, environmental, production, and financial targets are met.
• Continually lead implementation of improvement initiatives.
• Drive effective availability and utilisation of people, assets, and equipment.
• Manage and support site managers.
• Co-ordinate and oversee projects, schedules, and consents.
